What is ‘In The Making’?

This exhibition at Unassigned Gallery is all about making in community and celebrating art as a way to connect. Presented by Many Hands Make (MHM), this exhibition is about perfect imperfection, focusing on community and creating with joy.

The art that makes up this exhibition is submissions from the MHM community, as well as the broader arts community surrounding Unassigned Gallery. All these pieces are works in progress; the artwork never thought good enough to exhibit, something part of a yet-to-be-finished series, something in a completely different style, or anything that’s not quite ‘done’

MHM has also turned the gallery into a shared studio! A place to work side by side, swap ideas, learn new skills in workshops and build a creative community together. You can drop in during the gallery’s normal opening times and contribute to the participatory artwork of creative ideas.
